Brother/Sister Outing

Mary and Kris arm-wrestling at a bar somewhere along the way. Randy served as judge.

Playing Auction Dice...Mark lost three times in a row and
had to wear the "hat" a.k.a. colander.

Sandy getting ready to hand out poker chips.

The guys "getting ready" to grill the shish-kabobs we put together. Yum!

Mike and Kelly catching a nap after our seven hour rafting trip!

I survived!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I survived the weekend! Save for a bit of a sunburn on my shoulders and knees, I was unscathed! I seriously thought I'd break something (ie. an arm or leg) on our white-water rafting trip.

This year's annual "Brother/Sister Outing" was planned by Randy and Kris who chose to take us on a seven hour rafting trip on the Wolf River. It was a lot of fun, but I ended up getting sick. It's ok, I knew I would as I have severe motion sickness. I wore SeaBands and took Dramamine but they just couldn't hold up past hour five of the trip.

The whole weekend was great and it was nice for me to be able to have a few drinks and a good time without worrying about having to drive or worrying about whether or not I'm pregnant. I may have mentioned that Mark and I aren't really trying, but we're also not preventing anything. I'm always leery about having even one drink until I know for sure each month. Luckily with this trip I knew for sure so I could enjoy myself.

I have a few pictures to upload from my digital and then the whole disposable camera from rafting that needs to be developed, so I'll do a longer post about the trip with lots of pictures probably on Wednesday.

Until then we'll be busy. We've got volleyball league tonight and we're meeting with another builder Tuesday night. Friday is the 4th of July parade and then the party and fireworks at Mike and Kelly's place. Whew! I'm still tired from the weekend and we've got a busy week ahead! Time to get back to work....

It's a girl!!

Hooray and congratulations to this fun mommy who gave birth to a little girl this morning! I've been a faithful follower of In A Shoe blog and was so thrilled to be able to read as she updated the blog throughout the labor process. This is her eighth little girl and there's one son thrown into the mix...it will be fun to see how the little guy handles growing up in a house full of women! Check out her blog...you'll love it!

On another note, we're leaving this afternoon for the annual Brother/Sister Outing. We're heading "up North" to go white water rafting...I'm very excited! I'm sure there will be lots of fun pics to post next week. I bought a disposable, water proof camera to use rafting (I obviously wouldn't want to ruin either of our new digitals) so it may take a few days to have them developed the "old fashioned" way.

Hope you have a mosquito-less weekend!

Courage is

The Strange Familiar have a new song entitled Courage Is .

I love this song...it says so much about life. When things are all wrong, and
everything in life seems upside down and wrong the only way to survive is to
search for that little bit of something that keeps you going.
My courage...
is in my husband and family.
My courage is in my godson's eyes and
in the hope I see in every sunset.
My courage is in my faith and
the uplifting lyrics of my favorite song.
My courage...
is in knowing that that I've got somebody to love.

"Courage is...when you're in pain, but you keep on living anyway.
Courage is...when you've lost your way, but you find your strength anyway."

Something my husband hates....

This is my nightstand. Mark sighs every time he looks at it. He just cannot fathom why I need so much lotion. The fact is I don't need it. I want it!

I love to have a variety to choose from and while I use lotion off an on throughout the day, my nightly routine includes lots of moisturizing! I use a non-scented lotion for sensitive skin after I wash my face, then I choose the "flavor" of the evening and lotion up my arms, legs, and feet.

Mark doesn't understand the need for lotion or why I want to make sure I smell nice before going to sleep. He also doesn't understand why I put on deodorant before bed time, even though I've explained my reasoning... I'm a girl!

Hmmm...good thing he hasn't seen my desk at work -I have four lotion "flavors" there- or the center console of our car where I've stashed two other bottles!

The grandparents I never met...

John and Marcella Woelfel

A love without end...

Mark's grandparents, Marcella and John, shared a very special kind of love. Together they celebrated the birth of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 60+ years of marriage. Their bond was so deep that when Marcella passed away in November of 2003, John was only able to carry on living for a few months before he joined his valentine in heaven on February 14, 2004. They truly had a love without end.

Mark was quite close with his grandparents and has often told me how sad he is that I never got to meet them, that they couldn't be there on our wedding day. This weekend, he shared with me the eulogies he wrote and read for both of their funerals. Mark has never been great with words, but those memories of his grandparents were heartfelt and beautiful - they helped me see a new side of the man I love. It was very touching, and helped us on the very long path to forgiveness and healing.

This weekend has been very trying for us, but also very good for our relationship. We took a lot of time to talk about the things that were bothering us (in regard to our marriage) and ironed out several things that we've been "too busy" to consider discussing.

As you can probably gather from my last post, I was seriously about to lose it last week. In all my anger and frustration, I simply couldn't remember anything that was "good" about our relationship. I lost sight of the things I love about Mark and the way we used to be.

This weekend, I started to see it again. After we talked things through, we were able to laugh and joke around and we even had a heated kissing session on the couch! I'm sure you didn't want to know that, but seriously we haven't done that in over three years!

I know that we have a love as true and as deep as his grandparent's and I look forward to spending the next 60+ years at his side. We've both got some work to do, but the main thing is - we've agreed to work at it... A love without end, Amen.

So Frustrated!

The last few days have been very "icky" for me. I'm so frustrated with things that are going on between me and Mark...I could scream! I don't know how to get through to him - he's changed so much in the last few months. Grrrrrrrr!

It all started with another argument about his lack of helping out around the apartment. The argument escalated when he informed me that he was going out with some friends after golf league last night. We've had a very busy week and have seen each other maybe a combined total of five awake hours since Sunday...and he CHOOSES to go out with his friends over spending time with me. Before he left, I asked if he could throw in a load of laundry because I wasn't feeling well and wanted to rest for a few minutes. He actually threw a tantrum! He started stomping his feet and slamming things around!

Mark put in the load, then left the apartment (slamming the door) without kissing me goodbye! That is only the second time in the nearly four years we've lived together that he's done that...it made me feel horrible! He came home after 10 p.m. last night, changed clothes and promptly passed out in bed. That made me even more angry because I really wanted to talk about things and he just pretended like everything was normal. It was ridiculous!

He kissed me goodbye this morning and I let him, because I'm a firm believer in making every "good-bye" count - it could be the last. But, when he called during a break at work I let him know I was still upset and really felt like we should talk about things tonight. He of course got all defensive, saying he had the right to be angry not me. He said I was being too controlling and demanding and it wasn't a big deal since (according to him) he hadn't gone out in a while. Funny I had to pick his drunk ass up last Saturday when he went out with his friends, leaving me home to be the good "wifey" and clean up his messes.

If I wasn't working, and stayed at home all day while he brought home the bacon - our situation would be different. Then I could see how he'd "expect" me to do the household chores and cooking etc. That's simply not the case. My job, in fact, is more demanding than his and I work odd hours, so I expect him to help out. When he doesn't (which is more often than not) I get upset and angry...I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. How can I keep things clean when he doesn't try?

All I'm asking is that instead of leaving his dirty breakfast dishes on the counter, he takes three extra steps to put them in the sink. Or, if the toilet paper roll is empty he grabs a new one. He could also put his dirty clothes into the hamper instead of on the floor, a mere foot away from the basket. He could also put his shoes in the closet when he gets home from work and hang his ties up instead of draping them over the couch. All I ask is that when he's done reading a magazine/newspaper etc. he put it into the recycling bin instead of piling them up next to his recliner until I get sick of looking at them and put them away. Every once in a while he could load/unload the dishwasher, wash/dry/fold the laundry, make the bed, pick up the pile of Kleenex next to his nightstand.... While he is physically capable of doing all those things, he won't. Why? Because he was spoiled by his mom, he's lazy and he expects me to do it.

For months, years even I've been making excuses for him, but I'm done. This is it. Something has to change or I'm outta here. I'm not going to be his second choice any longer. I'm not going to be his maid for even one more day. I've had it, I'm throwing in the towel.

If any of you dear readers know my husband and want to try to knock some sense into him, you're welcome to ... as long as you use a sturdy baseball bat. Phew. Feels good to vent.

Prayers

Please pray for Patty. Though I don't know her personally, I do know some of her family. Click on the link to read her story.

I'm heading off to a meeting in a bit so I probably won't get around to posting those pictures I promised. Mark is meeting with one of the builders while I'm gone and another will be coming by the apartment around 8 p.m. tonight.

Tomorrow I'm going to Appleton with my dad to donate blood - he'll get his 18 gallon pin! I'm so proud of him! So, this was just a short post to let you know that there will be a longer post and pictures tomorrow...I promise!

Family Fun

We had a very busy and full weekend with lots of family fun, treats and of course sunburns. Mark brought home a Ford Mustang convertible (as he does every year) for the Father's Day parade, so we spent a lot of time this weekend bumming around with the top down. A lot of fun...but not so great for the skin and hair.

Saturday I had lots of pictures to take for our town's Summer Festival and then we had a graduation party for our nephew in the afternoon. Troy, who graduated from high school, was nice enough to allow his sisters Brianne and Steph crash his grad party as they recently graduated from college and tech college, respectively. It was nice to catch up with everyone and play with the kiddos on the trampoline and in the sandbox. Jade, Trent, Olivia and I built a "village" sand castle - I'll have to post pictures later.

Sunday was the parade and it was so nice to just sit with Mark's family, help the little ones catch candy and see the excitement in their eyes! Mark drove the convertible and his brother Randy and our nephews Trent and Alex joined him. This was the first year in probably eight years that I wasn't in the parade and could just sit and watch!

After, we all headed to a nearby park for a picnic and Scoops ice cream (ahhh the benefits of having a brother-in-law who owns an ice cream shop!) and let the kids burn off some energy on the playground. Of course, I got suckered into playing with the kids...I just can't say no! Later, we headed out to my mother and father-in-law's house. We all sat around and chatted some more and made plans for the annual Breckheimer Brother-Sister Family Outing, which is set for the last weekend in June. We're going white water rafting this year - a first for me! I'm very excited! We ate (again...lots of snacks and food this weekend!) then headed over to my parents to give mom a ride in the convertible while dad was finishing up milking.

After milking, we gave dad his gifts - some new hammers and a gift certificate to the Gobbler's Knob - and sat around talking for a while. There were lots of hints and questions from family this weekend - everyone wants to know when we're having kids! I always answer truthfully, "I don't know!"

Alright, well there's a quick update. Hopefully I'll get time later tonight to post pictures from the weekend. Tonight I'm going to our niece's softball game so there will pics from that later in the week. Ciao for now!

Mmmmm...soda...

I've been trying a new trick lately, to help me enjoy the little things in life. For instance, when I was in college I practically lived on soda. The caffeine was "essential" to daily life and it got to the point where I was drinking three or four a day! I started realizing how much sugar, calories etc. were contained in each soda and soon switched to diet. We've all heard the horror stories about the chemicals in diet soda...so after a while I quit cold turkey.

In the last few months, I've started enjoying soda again in moderation. I'll create a list in my head of all the things I want to get done in a day, and if I accomplish them I'll treat myself to a soda. I do the same to treat myself to the occasional candy bar. Not only does this system ensure that I'm getting all of my stuff done (with no excuses!) but it's obviously a lot healthier than guzzling soda after soda all day long and helps me really appreciate those little treats.

Mark and I do the same thing with treating our self to "date nights." We schedule them every other week or so (usually it's just going out to eat, but it's also been a shopping trip or movie) and create a list of the stuff that has to get done before we go. We usually choose big projects like cleaning out the garage, vacuuming the cars, etc. To quote Martha Stewart..."It's a good thing."

Now, for something totally unrelated: it's been raining off and on for the last week. Here are some rainy day pictures.

Crazy Folk

Phew! It's been a busy few days! Monday and Tuesday I put in 13 hour days at work, so I'm taking a much needed and well deserved morning off. I actually got done early yesterday (for a Tuesday) around 6:30 p.m., though I had gone into work at 5:45 a.m. Anyway, Tuesdays are usually later so Mark often plans things - golf, hanging out with his buddies, etc. - so he won't be sitting here all alone. Last night he'd told Randy he could come over for the Brewers game, which started around 7 p.m. I told Mark that was fine, but he'd have to do a quick clean of the apartment before Randy got there - Mark knows how much I hate having people over when the apartment is a mess!

He said his usual "yea, yea" so I really didn't think he would do anything. Surprise! He actually did the dishes, cleared off the table, scrubbed the toilet, picked up his towels off the bathroom floor, picked up his blanket off the living room floor and he even remembered to shut our bedroom door - my number one rule when people come over; Thou Shalt Not See Our Bedroom. I was so happy!

Mark was sad that I got done early and we couldn't spend time together because he'd already promised that Randy could come over, but I said I would just go over to my parents to see them for a while. Ever since they tore down their house and I can't do laundry over there, it seems like I never get to see them! I pulled into their driveway and they were getting ready to leave to go visit my grandparents to give Grandpa his Father's Day card. I decided to go along...you can never spend too much time with the G's!

We had a wonderful time...my grandparents are two of the funniest people I know! I took lots of pics...as I usually do, because they are so willing to do funny things for the camera. Later, we went inside their house and grandma started pulling stuff from the fridge - pretty soon we had an entire feast (ham sandwiches, chip and dip, pickles, brownies, date bars, etc) to eat a 9 p.m.!

Here are a few pics:

It's ok to be mad

Today marks one week since our dear friend Al's death and yesterday was his very emotional funeral service and life celebration. The events of this weekend have forever changed my life, and for that I'm grateful - I've learned a lot of very valuable lessons.

On Friday night Mark, his brother and one of their good friends spent several hours sharing stories and toasting Al. I know it was very therapeutic for them all and I'm so grateful that through this trying time, we've had our close friends to lean on.

On Saturday, I was also thankful when our friend Eric asked if he could ride with us to Sheboygan for the service. My stomach was in knots, I'd already gone through half a box of Kleenex while I was getting ready, and I wasn't quite sure how Mark and I were going to handle the 45 minute car ride there in silence. With Eric along we spent the ride talking about "normal" stuff and it was good to think about other things for a few minutes.

The only way we got through the service was by leaning on one another. I'll admit, as soon as I walked through the doors of the funeral home I broke down. First we filed past a poster board of pictures featuring our smiling friend, who was still so alive in our hearts it hurt to think of him in any other way. I hugged his daughter who, dry eyed, patted my arm and told me everything would be ok. (They later told me, they'd spent the entire week crying and really didn't have any tears left to shed at the service.) I collapsed into his son's arms and told him how sorry I was and then Mark and I walked up to the casket.

It was surreal to see him lying there, so peaceful. I wanted to shake him, scream at him, ask him to quit this charade. He looked so different and later I realized why - he wasn't smiling. In all the years I'd known him, I'd never seen Al with anything but a smile on his face and a handshake or hug ready to dole out.

The service was beautiful and touching, with the pastor relaying some stories several of us had told him. At one point, the pastor said "You know, it's ok to be angry. It's ok to be angry at yourselves for whatever you might have done to change this outcome; it's ok to be angry at God for 'letting' this happen; and it's ok to be mad at Al for choosing this route."

As he said those words, it was like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I had been feeling all those things - the anger and guilt that I could have done something, anything to stop him. I was angry with God for "letting" this happen and I'd had fleeting feelings of anger toward Al for choosing to leave us in this grief. As I looked around and heard a collective sigh from the dozens of people around me, I could literally feel my heart starting to mend. It's ok, it's ok, it's ok.

Our close-knit group of friends sat together at the service. I sat between my husband and my brother-in-law, clutching Mark's hand and one-arm hugging Randy. On the other side of Mark were several of our other friends, all leaning on each other and my sister-in-law sat on the other side of Randy holding his hand. My niece and nephew sat on their parent's laps and Trent put his hand on my knee. With all of us grieving so closely together, I must admit we were a messy bunch - not much time or a free hand to reach for the Kleenex!

After the service, we all went to a park to eat, have some drinks and honor Al the way he would have wanted - with lots of laughter and joking. The kids played a pick-up game of football, a spontaneous poker game was started (Al would have loved that!) and we spent hours sharing stories. It was so therapeutic and so wonderful to see his wife, Nikki, laughing and reminiscing.

We've still got many tough days ahead as we try to help Nikki and the kids pick up the pieces and create a new sense of "normal." There are living arrangements to iron out, debts to consider and remedy, and dozens of other details to figure out...but I know that this weekend has helped Mark and I on the path to healing, which we so desperately need so we can be Nikki's support system.

It's gonna be tough, but this weekend I learned that it's ok to be mad. It's ok to thing about what might have been, and what should have been - but it's also very important to remember those we've lost with lots of love, tears, and laughter. Friends and family are the backbone of our lives...I certainly have learned to cherish the moments I share with each and every one of them.

Country Road....

...take me home, to a place where I belong.....

Beautiful huh? This is why I live here...can you think of any other place where the sun sets paint the sky, the stars shine bright...and the beer is always cold? (Smile)

This is my "picture post" for the day and probably for the weekend, unless I'm feeling up to posting on Sunday. Tomorrow is Al's funeral and what I'm sure will be one of the toughest days of my life. I'm praying for guidance, strength, and of course healing for all of us. It sure is hard to say "good-bye" even if it is only for a little while...till we're all up there together,
helping to paint the sky.

Cloudy Days and More Baby Talk

Clouds...
We're learning more details about our friend's death and his state of mind in the days before. (See Last Post) It still doesn't make sense. I'm not sure it ever will. Right now we're struggling to find a new sense of normalcy and do whatever we can to support his wife and their two young children.

I'm both looking forward to and dreading Saturday. I'm having such a hard time with this, all I can hope for is that seeing his face one last time will help me gain some closure so I can trudge through this grief to be of some use to his family. I want so desperately to be strong for the kids and for Nikki, but right now I feel like my presence will only make things worse.

My brother-in-law is also having a hard time dealing with all of this - he feels so guilty, like he should have known something was wrong and done something to change the outcome. He's so devastated to have lost one of his best friends - who was also his co-worker, car pool buddy and neighbor. He needs prayers for healing just as much as Al's immediate family does.

Sigh. I don't pretend to understand how this all works. I'm still trying to figure out God's plan. He must have needed Al, but doesn't he understand that we still needed him to? Maybe, His plan is for us to learn something from this tragedy. Hopefully we'll find out what that lesson is...I think it would really help us to make some sense of it all.

As we struggle with all of this we still have responsibilities, duties, goals in our own lives. It's weird to be planning for the future, going to work, buying groceries, etc. when our hearts are grieving...but we've got to continue living.

On to the Baby Talk...
Last night, Mark and I met with another builder. That's five so far. They've all got copies of our blue prints and our preferred materials, so they'll start sending out the plans for bids. We should start getting a few of the bids in later next week, so hopefully we'll be able to get some idea of where we stand financially. We'd both love to be able to build this year, but I'm just not sure it's possible. We both make enough money and we've been able to save, but my employer has some financial trouble and I'm not always being paid on time. The overall cost of the home and the prospect of looking at a mortgage with a very high payment, is pretty scary.

I also don't want our building a house, to hinder our plans to have children. I'd rather buy a fixer-upper and be able to have kids and build later than build now and have to put off having kids for a few years. Life is just too short and our parents both so desperately want to welcome a new grand-baby into their lives...I just can't see putting it off. Now that we've got a bunch of baby furniture to go with our stock pile of "hand me down" clothes, I'm yearning for a baby more than ever!

Lately, I've been obsessed with smelling diapers. Lol. I know, weird. I was invited to a baby shower a few months ago, but the weather was bad and the drive was pretty long so I didn't end up going. I sent a card and decided I'd just keep the gifts I'd bought - including some newborn swaddlers - because I'll surely need them some day. The diapers are sitting on top of a tub of baby clothes stacked near our computer. Every once in a while, I'll grab the package and take a whiff of the lovely "baby" smell. Mark looks at me like I'm nuts, but he agrees that they smell good - in the package, not necessarily on the baby.

A friend of mine began stocking up on diapers for several months before her baby was born. According to her logic, diapers are expensive and it was more practical to buy them little by little than incurr a big cost all at once. It's a good idea, but my mom reminded me that I was allergic to a certain brand of diapers when I was little and you never know. It would be awful to buy a ton of diapers of a given brand only to learn that your little one is very allergic and the diapers can't be used.

Lately, I've been reading a blog written by a cloth-diapering mom. The Cloth Diapers of today are nothing like those of yesteryear and it's something I'm definately considering. I'm very big on recycling and doing what I can to make sure I don't add to the growing piles of "stuff" in the landfill, this really seems like something that would be very do-able for us. It will take a little more convincing to get Mark on board, but I've already explained the process to my mom (who will be our main babysitter, I'm sure!) and she seems pretty excited about the idea and willing to try it. I'm going to do some more research and emailing with some moms who are "going cloth" before I make a final decision...I have some time!

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but Mark and I already have both a boy and girl's name picked out. We actually decided on them after we had only been dating about seven months. We laughed at the time, figuring we'd change our minds but almost four years later...they're still our top choice! We won't tell family or friend (or bloggers!) what the names are ahead of time because they are both family names (honoring a family member) and want it to be a surprise. However, since Al's death we're toying with incorporating some part of his name as a middle name for one of our future sons.

It's very important to us that we don't forget what a wonderful man he was, and we'll be very sure to tell our children that their "Uncle Al" loved them before they were even an idea! He'd always tell Mark that he couldn't wait till we had kids so he could spoil them and dote on them as much as we did/do his children.
Sigh. I miss him so much. Love and prayers....

They say time heals...

...but it seems to me that in the days since we learned about the death of our good friend, the pain has only gotten stronger, the hurt deeper.

We learned early Monday morning that our beloved friend, Al, had taken his own life. Since the moment I received that phone call, my world has been turned upside down. I alternate between crying and wondering why, then I giggle when I remember a fun time we spent with him or something funny he said, and then my laughter quickly turns to sobs when I realize I'll never again be able to hug him or tease him about his love for the Cubs.

I've known Al, his wife, and their two children for as long as I've known my husband however Mark and his brother Randy have been close with him for many, many years and just looking at the pain in their faces, makes my heart ache even more. Why did this happen?

I'm struggling to come to terms with his fate as well. I believe with my whole heart that Al is in heaven right now. I don't care what the church's position on suicide is...all I know is that he was a wonderful friend, a good person and a superb father and husband. Though he had a shady past, he made up for it and continued to help others and do good deeds. I can't and won't accept any other notion of his fate, because it's too hard for me to imagine going to heaven someday and not seeing his smiling face there waiting for me.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and God has a plan for us all. Whether we die of natural causes, in a car accident or whatever - there is a reason and plan for it. I'm still trying to understand His plan for Al because all I know is the world is not better off without him and we all (selfishly?) want him here.

Please pray for his wife and young children who are dealing with this tragedy and for all his family and friends who are trying to understand why and are struggling to come to terms with his death. Saturday, the day of his funeral, will be especially hard for all of us. We'll need a lot of faith and support to get through this.

I keep praying that someday the sun will shine again and we'll be able to remember Al with smiles on our faces. Right now, that day seems pretty far off.

He's baaaaaaack!

*This picture doesn't have much to do with my post, but it's so cute I had to include it! This is my Marky as a toddler...just look at his blonde hair!

Mark just got back from his vacation up North with his work buddies and after unpacking and eating lunch, he's taking a nap while I do some laundry. It's good to have him back home, but I must say I didn't miss him nearly as much this trip as I did the last.

The group goes up to Corey's cabin twice a year - in the Spring and Fall - so I've been through the lonely weekend seven times now. They leave Friday afternoon after work and don't return home until Sunday around noon and, in the past, his leaving has been very had for me. I don't sleep well without him and I find myself moping around the apartment waiting for the rare moments when he has cell phone reception to call me.

This year I decided I would try to me stronger. I kept myself busy doing extra stuff for work, I visited with my brother and parents and went shopping with my mom on Saturday, I read two books I'd been meaning to get to, I got caught up on the dishes and I re-organized and cleaned our computer room. Quite the productive weekend!

Mark was only able to call home twice, and we talked for maybe five minutes total but it was still nice to hear his voice. I was able to sleep pretty well this time, probably because I was so busy during the day that I was actually tired when it was time for bed.

In any event, I'm happy to say I survived the weekend and I'm glad Mark has the opportunity to spend guy time. It's good for our relationship too to spend some time apart. You know what they say...absence makes the heart grow fonder!

I'm sure he'll make the trip again this fall, but next year he probably won't make either the spring or fall trip...if everything goes as planned that is! Our current plan is to start "trying" for a baby this winter. Who knows, it could happen the first month or (more likely) it will take several months of trying. But I'm sure if I'm pregnant next spring he won't want to leave, even if it is for a weekend...he's very protective that way!

I can't believe it's June already...time goes by so quickly! It seems like just yesterday I saw Mark out on the golf course for the first time on a sticky June day. I can't believe how much my life has changed (for the better) since he came into it. Love is a beautiful thing!

Time to go wake up hubby - I want ice cream!
